Believe in Tam

Dumped my heart out about Tam on my main blog, but for here, I have my dropkickd review.
What can I say? 6 stars.
A ruined girl who hides her feelings of loss and abandonment behind violence and hate destroys the person who was willing to sacrifice everything to make a her feel a human connection again.
A woman too stupid to realize everyone sees past her mask, vs a woman too stubborn to fully appreciate the consequences of her impulsive decisions.
Tam walks to the gallows proudly and with conviction. Saya cries not out of fear, but because she now has to destroy one of the people who inspired her. For what? What is violence, but the result of a failure of communication? These feelings and hurt that could have simply been resolved by exposing ones heart. Instead, they were locked away, protecting ourselves from seeming vulnerable. But at what cost?
That is the punishment for emotional cowardice. A deeply human punishment we've all experienced.
"If only I said how I felt earlier..." But the moment for that has long passed.
... And then it ends like a dream. A fade to black.
The choice of wrestling does not need to be a choice between 'flashy moves' or over the top "story lines". They can be real stories about humanity, connection, and loss. A beautiful match.
