Was debating what to do for Golden week like "am I just going to do Naomi agaaaain?" before realizing this was a great excuse to do some post-release Moonlight Duelists art.

I keep joking that this was the inciting incident like of course Bao becomes obsessed with Jan after seeing her like that. Of course, the actual reason is much more than physical, but it's a fun thought. I can imagine Naomi saying "Oh I saw this on twitter, we should all do it, I bought some swimsuits for everything, I'm sure they'll fit right!"

Jan asks for a one-piece and then has to deal with this. Some of the expression got lost in in the pixelization, but I wanted Jan to be nervously incredulous -- this is never something she'd wear by her own choice -- and Bao almost distressed. The end result, Bao almost looks a kinda amount mad that she's finding Jan so hot and Jan looks... concerned. Close enough. Pixel expressions are already a huge challenge. The original Koikatsu shots I used as a base are down below, so you can see how the expressions changed.

This isn't a real timelapse. Maybe one time I'll set one up. Fortunately my layers and stuff serve as a decent one that kinda shows how I home in on things. It was nice to be able to do things like displace Jan's swimsuit and have her be tugging on it. I can do stuff to fake that in Koi, but it's easier ot just do it purely in pixels.

The Koi shot below isn't really an in game shot but a composite I did later. The renders were liquefied and pushed around before use to refine the poses. Usually I do my comparison shots before that step, but here it didn't make as much sense.
